The Explorer

1. Murals in the Mission

Turning the streets of the Mission into a canvas, this project evolved from a community mural workshop in which the participants designed and painted the portable mural “Masks of God, Soul of Man” for the Bernal Heights Library. That group became the Precita Eyes Mural Arts Association and led to the beautification of streets and alleys throughout the Mission. Explore on your own or take a tour led by Precita Eyes Mural Arts.

Rising 120 feet (37 m), The Wiggle inclines average 3% and never exceed 6%.  Leave your bike and home and rent one from any one of several resources throughout the city.
