An Afternoon at "The Opera House"...in Bayview. A fundraising event for the purpose of raising funds to carry out our planned performances for the remainder of 2013. In the past we have been successful at raising enough funds to support our productions. However our last event, The Celebration of Black History Month, we were not as fortunate; the scheduled celebration fell on Super Bowl Sunday. Now it's Recovery Time! The event planned shall be a testimony to the brilliance and supportive spirit of artists in the Bayview community consisting of: Xpress, a mine group whose spirit gives life and character beyond the masks. Clara McDaniel's powerful voice rendering some of her compositions. The Voices of Providence Choir, Director Kennety Young of the Providence Baptist Church. Rena Maria who embraces the spirit of praise in her dance. Jesse Sahbi, a masterful musician and storyteller from West Africa. Infinity Productions Performing Ensemble exploring music with the spoken word with bass player, Tony Saunders, composer, arranger and music producer whose father, Merl Saunders, was a renouned Jazz artist/keyboardist in the Bay Area and abroad.
