Come celebrate the start of 2014 with your fellow Georgetown Alumni at our Annual Hoya New Year Extravaganza! Please join the Georgetown Club of Northern California for the 2014 Hoya New Year Extravaganza at Mission Rock Resort, a beautiful waterfront restaurant in the up and coming Dogpatch/Mission Bay neighborhood, just south of At&t Park. We will have the entire Fireside Lounge area on the first floor to ourselves, which includes our own bar, appetizers, fireplace, and access to the outdoor patio where you can enjoy drinks and food right on the Bay with a beautiful view. Tickets are offered at a price of $45 online and include four drink tickets, one raffle ticket, a wine tasting during the first hour, and buffet style appetizers (including Mission Rock's famous oysters). The drink tickets are good for bottled or draft beer, house wine, and well cocktails. We will also be selling tickets at the door on the day of the event for $55, cash only. Once you arrive, there is metered street parking available on Terry Francois Blvd and nearby Illinois St (paying the meter is required until 10pm, and/or some spots have a two hour limit). There is also a paid parking lot across the street from the restaurant, $3 for every two hours, or $7 parking all day until 9pm. If you're taking public transit, the "T" Muni line stops at 3rd and Mariposa, which is only a short walk from the restaurant. For those taking Bart, you can connect with the "T" line at Embarcadero. The 48 and 22 bus lines have stops nearby off of 3rd Street as well.
