It’s that time of the year again, the Stern Grove Festival returns for another summer full of world-class music. In its 76th year, the lineup seems to get better each year, with this concert series being one of the best yet. And all concerts are admission free!

The diverse array of musical talent features annual favorites from  the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet and San Francisco Symphony; Michael McDonald and Red Baraat are a couple of big names to join the festival for the first time this year, and there are a host of other great performers listed below

The Stern Grove Festival starts with “The Big Picnic” fundraiser (the only event all summer that requires a ticket), with proceeds benefiting the Stern Grove Festival Foundation, which provides San Franciscans free music every summer at the grove. All concerts are held in Stern Grove which is located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.
