Giraffage's 49 Hours
Giraffage is the creation of 22-year old multi-instrumentalist/producer Charlie Yin of San Francisco, California. Currently signed to Alpha Pup Records, the general sound of Giraffage is described as a weaver of refreshingly crisp electro dream pop tunes that thread their way through loose-knit grooves and tightly-toothed rhythms. Gaining inspiration from things as diverse as dreams or the weather, Giraffage evokes a woozy yet familiar mood that is sure to stimulate your eardrums and leave you feeling a sense of nostalgia and melancholy.
Catch Giraffe at the California Academy of Sciences February 21.
1. The Independent
The Independent is a premier live music venue in San Francisco that opened its doors to Bay Area music lovers in February 2004. The Independent always has a special place in my heart. It was the first actual venue I've performed at and the first time I actually had monitors up on stage. Even though I've never been back there since, it sounds the best to me because performing with and without monitors is like the biggest difference ever.

2. Lou's Sandwiches
Located in the heart of the Richmond Neighborhood, Lou's Sandwiches is a beloved tradition that's been around for a very long time (and it's not going anywhere soon). Be sure to add Lou's Special Sauce and the Jalapeño Spread for an extra kick. My favorite sandwich joint. The Veggielicious is probably the best sandwich I've tasted ever.

5. Baker Beach
Stretching a mile below the rugged cliffs on the Presidio’s western shoreline, Baker Beach’s spectacular outside-the-Gate views of the Bridge and the Marin Headlands are unsurpassed. I feel like no one appreciates Baker Beach.
