Rit Lab: Paper and Cheese
Thursday, May 24, 2012, 6–8 p.m.
Contemporary Jewish Museum

Don’t miss the Contemporary Jewish Museum’s next RitLab where creating, schmoozing, and noshing are rolled into an evening of fun and camaraderie. Featuring four simultaneous activities, there’s something for everyone.

Create, schmooze, and nosh at the Museum where you’ll transform recycled paper into treasures with Anthroplogie’s Kayte Terry who will also sign copies of her new book Paper Made. Or immerse yourself in an Art Flash Gallery Chat (ticket separate). Then, in honor of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, affectionately known as the “dairy holiday,” enjoy a selection of cheeses provided by Cowgirl Creamery. And don’t forget to check out the CJM café, American Box, for blintzes.

Throughout the evening, enjoy the music of the Brough Brothers, a four piece string band featuring the musical harmonies of Josh Brough (Poor Man’s Whiskey) and Zack Brough (Jugtown Pirates). Their music is a combination of folk, rock, country and bluegrass.

Admission: Free for Members; $5 General, includes Museum admission
